It is wonderful that new people are joining this community [...]

It is wonderful that new people are joining this community and expressing their enthusiasm. This is great and demonstrates that the message makes sense to them. They are tired of the old system and want to try something new. But this is also where our education kicks in. Though not all good, it teaches us how to write, research, integrate. The web platform encourages short pithy communication, but establishing new ways of doing things (like generating solar, wind and water power, without money, that can then be distributed freely), raises questions. Who is going to purchase and install these solar panels? What sizes are they going to be? Which batteries are going to be used? Will they be used in conjunction with wind? What sizes will the turbines be? Where will they come from? Ditto for the water turbines. These people are being promised free electricity. This is wonderful. But is the campaigning for money going to continue after the elections to help install some of this infrastructure? These are real, solid questions that come to mind, based on having worked with solar, electric motors and the like. These parts don't come from nowhere, and they need people who understand them, as well as parts and tools. If there are answers to these questions that can be put in place *before* they are needed, that can help ensure any transition after the elections can proceed that much more smoothly. Also, I think that if people see real equipment, equipment lists, places where this equipment will be installed (i.e. a sufficient level of detail for the project involved), then that may actually *help* any remaining fundraising efforts for visibility before the elections as that can then lend credibility to these promises being made. Thanks.

look up E.B.M. machines that have been in use for over 60 years. (energy by motion) all electric power plants create steam that runs turbines. when we take over fracking wells which are biological and chemical weapons that make laced clouds and fog(nerve gas) they can be used as steam generators or free energy which Nicola Tesla designed a long time ago and made a patent for in his book. fracking wells are called Hitler's world wide gas chamber. look at the sky and look on a nasa web site and see the hole world covered in clouds.

"good", thanks for your response. I was more focussed on the "Oh no! What are we going to do now!" response that I see coming when people are 50 miles away from the part they need and without that part their device won't work. There is a lot of good movement on this site, which is great, but a lot of it are people coming in and saying, "I've heard about it, now what?" According to the UC book (Ubuntu Contributionism...) when a person comes into a community and assessment of their skills is taken (got that on this site) and then a list of potential tasks are given (not in place yet). Also, the format of this site (Mat?) encourages a blog style posting format, where a lot of the technical detail may be better off placed in "pages" (as in WordPress) or perhaps even a wiki? (wiki.ubuntuplanet.org). This way people can work together to fine tune these ideas that are coming through.

I just looked up wikispaces.com, but they charge a minimum $10 fee per month. Mediawiki (https://www.mediawiki.org) is what wikipedia runs on. It is free and open source, but, from memory is sizeable and therefore would consume server resources ... and have a cost. Something to keep in mind.

o.k., I've found it: "The early stages of transition will be tricky as we try to create new communities that function without money and create abundance for all – while we are still stuck in the capitalistic world of slaving away to earn money to survive." p. 137. Makes sense.

so... just to be complete with this train of thought and tie it in with the phone network implementation, here is a quote from p. 140 about the first two years. I would give it five, but surely less than ten:

"These are the ultimate goals in the first two years:

1. Free Water
2. Free Energy – Includes: electricity, lights, heat, gas, methanol, and others 3. Free Housing – Includes building materials
4. Free Food ( Agricultural land optimisation)
5. Free Education – Creating an alternative education system"

Missed the phone opportunity! :)

The feeling I have about this mobile phone setup is that it is great in that it decentralizes infrastructure. This is how nature works (Biomimicry, J. Benyus). However, it creates an "us" vs. "them" mentality, at least in my mind as "those on the outside" fund "those on the inside" so that "those on the inside" can live "without money", which is a contradiction. Thus the only way out of this bit of il logic is to look at the company providing the equipment and package. Do they have patents on the technology? Long term are they going follow the UC (UBUNTU Contribution) model? Is the software they use going to be open sourced or closed sourced? In other words, in terms of technology it is great as a mechanism of transition, but the timeline for the transition is unclear. This is fair, but I think that people should also be looking to clarify the monthly payments after a couple of years or so. We don't want "them" to foot the bill for "us" long term. That's what I wanted to say.

the phone idea is a bad deal. i say no more radiation! i have learned a lot from the older generation and older nuns that give their hole lives have taught me how all electronics give off radiation that damages cell walls, especially newer phones. inside your head is a brain that is way more powerful than any phone or computer and can communicate, so don't damage it.water is free. energy is being stolen and we pay them to steal it.food is free but we have no time to grow it. education is free but we pay them to teach us english text of lies and we pay for it. along time ago the germans took over Buckingham Palace and are running the puppet show. hillary and trump are the same german family. barack is sadams son(the royal arab family). good day. go Ubutnu!

"good", thank you. o.k. let's open this up for long term, beyond twenty five years. We are stuck with what you say is a "primitive" technology that harms us. I understand that and don't put my cell phone to my ear, as I can notice the difference. But I can't communicate telepathically just yet, and until we can do that reliably we are stuck with communicating with those nearby or on platforms like this. Thanks for your insights on those bloodlines! Important! Take care.

Just listened to the intro video. MT with no internet? Oh my. There is usually a "nip and tuck" solution that emerges when one actually starts doing something. In less populated areas, EMR would be less of a problem. Long term, controlling db output (strength) is feasible. Controlling bandwidth used is feasible. Determining which frequencies are better is feasible. We emit EMR and don't self destruct, so there has to be some right levels and frequencies that would work. Hint: check sub neutrinos and tachyons. Oops! Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that.
