I Live in a small town in North Carolina and am wondering about the possibility of something here. Looking forward to more actions and solutions for the Contribution Community.

Hey guys, if you have some ideas, post them here or a link to them so others can comment. What works in your community might be different than what works in others.

Does your Town have a Circle here on ubuntuplanet.org? if not you should create one.
Then use the approved printed materials from the Ubuntu USA you can find them at their new home http://ubuntuplanetusa.com/ind….
Then organize weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings with other people in the community.
That is a starting point from there work on living the Ubuntu way with in your local group. get the word out to the community about what you are doing. once you have enough people start to doing things for the greater community. then work on winning the election in the community so you have majority control and can control the money in the community then you can use those resources to the start the community projects and fully launch Ubuntu in your community.

Hi Gustavo. I met you in at the Bolton Valley Ubuntu event and am overdue to write back to you about recent developments. In addition to working with Ubuntu Planet, I've been working closely with the international time banking networks and the mutual aid network of pilot sites. Super interesting article you posted. It does seem like that would be a good angle for North Carolinians to use to gather Ubuntu Contributionism folks. It would be good for them to know there is another way. Hug to you.

Hi Pam, great to hear from you. Will be a pleasure to talk. There is a lot of things happening around here too. Huge grow of small villages in Brazil. Kind of disorganized yet, but sounds like many are going in the right direction. Thank you for the Hug. I love it. Have another from South America.

You are welcome Gustavo. Hugs back at you. It's okay for people to not be perfectly organized at first as long as there is some cohesion and momentum, and mutual supporting.
