P.S. For those stuck in their paradigm.....soon you will have to pay $119 to Bill Gates in order to update your crappy, spying, primitive Windows 10. No pay, no update and who knows what Bill will do to your pewter if you don't pay. The time you will spend keeping Windows 10 working will be many many more times than the time you will spend on your learning curve installing Linux. That is of course, you have not been deceived into buying a "propietary Windows 10 machine" that is NOT a computer! Bill Gates designed Windows 10 to prevent installing Linux so if you bought a Windows 10 machine at the store...you're in Microsoft's sand box exclusively. Interesting how computer salesmen outright lie to you (calling it a "computer") when it isn't?

Hey AwakenYaMind Instead of spending lots and lots of money for a pretty looking Mac I use these types of Linux distros that look like the Mac/OSX desktop. https://apricityos.com/ https://elementary.io/ http://trentaos.org/ https://sourceforge.net/projec… It's your choice..... pay thousands for a Mac, pay $119 for short term use of Windows10 or install long lasting and efficient Linux for absolutely nothing, nada, zero.....hmmmmmm? Sure hope I didn't make a baaaaaaad decision on this one

No need to install Linux on your Mac really, osx is a Linux type operating system (both based on Unix). It's pretty safe compared to Windoze but not as safe as open source Linux.
