Been watching Ubuntu for a few years now and like it more and more. Living in WA I'm imagining how we can get a town up and running? Even if we had a mass of land given, we would still have state government as councils to tend with so it makes sense to have a political body. So who is running for Perth Ubuntu minister???
Hi Heechard, I believe the US coordinator is in your region and they are in the process of developing an agenda. I believe UBUNTU can co-exist with state government, we need political influence to help open the door to some of the regulatory items that can untie us from monetary influences

Washington is a home rule state and you can decide on your local government, how it is set up, and make your own laws. Every home rule state has different aspects to their home rule law but as long as you don't conflict with state laws, you can make your town a perfect place to start Ubuntu! Look into your state law to see how it works in Washington.
